Somethings just remind you ...... to MOVE ON

Hi Friends,

This is dedicated to all you folks, who made each of the destinations of life more memorable. The place that was so much fun to be, is no more of same interest without all you people in the vicinity. When i wonder these were the places we spent hours together..... Yes, its the sweet memories of the few landmarks of life....

Few days back i had been to my engineering college, after a long time. As i reached the college, i saw a few nice changes. A huge board in gold plated letters, for the name of the college and a huge gate; which was making it look better. The compund walls extended along. As i park the bike and look around, i see a lot of them at the places we spent the last few years. I made my walk from the parking lot to one of the buildings where i had to meet one of my lecturer. The walk earlier, which involved a hundred 'Hi's' on the way, a hug and alot of smiles was now a lone walk like a stranger to a place. The feel of the first day at college passes by the memory lanes. This is where it reminds....' LIFE COMES A FULL CIRCLE'.

The days of engineering at college was real fun. From small little fights, friends groups, day to day talking in classes, teasing our own lecturers, notes, internals, exams, clothes, bikes, movies, biryani at the canteen, booing the unliked ones. So much more..... teh list never ends...

We never knew what we had to speak so much, but we always spoke and that would be the major timepass. If we dint have classes where we could speak, then it was the benches near the playground. It would have some more stuff to speak, as we were from Mech. Need not explain, you would know why.....:). Classes would get over, but never would leave the premises early.

If this was the talk of the town for the first one month, the end of the month was the days when we forgot what existed on earth. Yes, the guess is right, the day's of Internals... all the study would start very late, no matter what.
Still remember a few brains, who would do well at all times. One of the friend was the best, he would read novels in class n write exams to top the class. One of the best brains, n down to earth character.

Then would start the running around for books, getting stuff copied, preparing for exams and those nightouts, group studies and chai times.
After all this were teh tough times of a lifetime :)... THE RESULTS.... this was like the release day of the movie 'SHIVAJI', where everyone would be in the class and class would be full like a theatre. They bought smiles to few, while tears to others..... but none the less they gave guts for the future and testing times ahead.

This was the story for the first five semesters probably. Then came the most important phase the days of sixth semester vacation classes; to prepare for companies and recruitment. These were few days worth remembering, where we got to know the rest of the batchmates, apart from class. The fun increased ......

Then the memorable part was the COLLEGE DAY celebrations. The dances, the songs, the way people booed a few and welcomed others. Some would become overnight heroes n people to look out with their performances. The effort that went into these stage shows are the best times. Everyone would enjoy that one day.

Then the eight semester and passing out, while we left with heavy hearts. Some untold affection towards college and friends. Some missed love stories, some silly fights when we see them today. Most missed today and that day, is missing you'll there.

ಇ0ದು ನೆನ್ನೆಯ0ತಿದೆ, ಆಟದ ಮೈದಾನದ ಆ ದಿನಗಳು,
ಮರೆತು ಹೋದ0ತಿದೆ, ನೆರೆ ಮನೆಯರ ಬೈಗಳ,
ಹಗಲು ಹೊರಹೋದರೆ, ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು ಸ0ಜೆ ಅ0ದು,
ತು0ಬ ಏನು ಬದಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಇ0ದು..
ಆದರೆ ಅ0ದು ಮೈದಾನ..ಇ0ದು ಆಫೀಸು...

ಕುಳ್ಳುತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಪಾಠಕ್ಕೆ ಎ0ದು, ಅಮ್ಮ ಬ0ದು ಎರಡು ಕೊಡುವ ತನಕ,
ಆದರಿ0ದು ಕೂತು ಓದುತಿರುವೆವು..ಸ0ಜೆ ಇ0ದ ಹಗಲ ತನಕ...
ಅ0ದು ಜೇಬಲಿದ್ದ ಎರಡು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ತ0ದ ಹಿಗ್ಗು,
ಎ0ದು ಕಾಣದು ನೂರಾರು ಇದ್ದರು ಇ0ದು.....

ಹ‌ಣ‌ವಿದ್ದರೆ ಸುಖ‌ವೆ0ದುಕೊ0ಡೆವು ಅ0ದು....
ಆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ, ಆ ಖುಷಿ, ಆ ನ‌ಗು....
ಆ ಸುದಿನ‌ಗ‌ಳು ಮಾಯ‌ವಾಗಿವೆ ಇ0ದು.

ಏನೇ ಆಗ‌ಲಿ ಪಾಯ‌ಣ‌ ಸಾಗುತಲಿರುವುದು,ಗುರಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ‌ ಆಸೆಗ‌ಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇ0ದು,
ಸ‌ವಿದು ಬಾಳೋಣ‌..ಈ ಸು0ದ‌ರ‌ ಪ‌ಯ‌ಣ‌ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮ‌ತ್ ಹ‌ಲ‌ವ‌ರ‌ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿ ಬಾಳೋಣ‌...
